I wanted to pass on a few suggestions to the developers concerning two missing features in Galaxy (based on user feedback).

#1. The ability for Galaxy to recognize all of your games (using the 'scan folders for GOG games' feature) and adding them to your collection without needing an internet connection. The Galaxy client really should be offline friendly.

#2. The ability to download all of your games at once with the single click of a button (install all games feature). This would be especially helpful to anyone who's had their computer crash, and they have to reinstall everything.

Not discounting outright your suggestions, but some info...

Adding games (even GOG only, already installed in your computer), into GOG Galaxy still needs an internet connection because all their metadata is taken from an online gaming database. They'd have to change a lot of their whole approach to not do that.

Most of us have hundreds of games on our lists.... I personally think a 'install all games feature' would be really unused. What I think they could do is let us select more than one game (lots maybe) and perform actions on them all ('at the same time'): tagging, installing, etc.

Good idea, perhaps we could have both features. (Select all, or select individually)
