At the most basic level this program is a dumpster fire. Sure, I can't add games that aren't on a pre-made list like I can with Steam, and sure all of the integrations are broken, but thank god you added a new feature that bugs me to rate games because I am literally too stupid to remember to do so on my own. Luckily this feature is also non-optional on the off-chance that I foolishly decide that I don't want you pestering me. This isn't even breaking into the realm of things that will literally never happen like Linux support, because precedent says such features would almost assuredly be fumbled like a greased bowling ball.
This entire thing feels like a busywork project to justify someone's job so they aren't unceremoniously dumped into the streets rather than a natural progression of the platform. There's no vision, there's no focus, and after waiting several months we might lucky enough to see a singular new feature which has somehow made the experience worse rather than fixing any of the countless broken or incomplete ones. In fact the only thing I can say that this client does exceptionally well is perfectly encapsulating the "forever beta" early-access scam philosophy of doing just enough to avoid the abandonware label.
Thanks.
