Hello everyone,
i'm really not a big fan of all the launchers, a horrible trend, in my opinion to spy on the user.
I was using origin for instance in a sandbox for years, since EA made it obvious they spied on us.
Since all the other launcher (Ubi, Epic, Steam) are most certainly not much better i would like to know, is gog galaxy able to access the launchers if they are put in a seperate sandbox?
If this is not working, would it be possible to store them all together in a single sandbox?
The big question i have in addition, is how does Galaxy 2.0 access the information? Is it accessing the information via an API or does it access the information via the RAM, InterOp etc.?
For thoses asking themselfes what a sandbox possibly is: A (or a bunch) of applications is seperated from the other parts of the OS, therefore it can't access anything outside the box. Since it's not allowed to post links, i suggest you look it up on wikipedia.
