The new system that stacks any game in all of its available platforms is nice, but there's an issue:

If you have your library of installed games grouped by platform, games will be shown multiple times, one for each platform you own the game, even if it that platform version is not the one installed. Could it be possible to change this, so that the game is only listed under the platform it is currently installed?

Thank you!

This is my #1 request! When I go to my GOG bookmark, for example, I want the option to see games I own only on GOG. Currently, I'm seeing all cross-platform games mixed in with no way of selectively hiding those or creating a "GOG-only" bookmark. Am I missing a current feature, or could this be added in a future update?

Both of you - did you encounter this after the last update 2.013 (nothing in the patch notes matches your problems, but who knows) ?
If so I would recommend to post a bug report, as I tried to replicate the behaviour both of you described and it works fine for me. There is also the possiblity that this only occurs in combination with certain integrations (i am using only PSN and Humble Bundle) > in case you are using more than one, does the behaviour change when you remove one ?

I am running GOG Galaxy 2.0.13.184 beta on Win 10.

If you go under Settings (gear symbol in upper left), then (on the left) Platforms -> Integrations, then (on the right) Community Integrations -> Steam, then click Connect and follow the prompts to connect GOG Galaxy to your steam account. Once connected, GOG Galaxy will connect in the background and download all of the information about the games in your library.

Once connected, you will see several options for filtering in GOG Galaxy in the left panel. Under Games is Recent (shows recent games), All games (shows total count), Installed, Downloads (in progress or completed), then the platform of the game (GOG,com and Steam should be available for you to see). Clicking on All games shows all games and you can add a column on the right to show icons for which platform. A game will be shown once with as many icons as you purchased the game on different platforms. If you click GOG.com, it will show you games you own from GOG (still the platform icon can show icons from several platforms). If you click on Steam, it will show you games you own on Steam. For a game you bought in both places, it lists once in each platform.

For a game you have a duplicate of, if you click on that game, the game details window will have an icon at the top to show that you have multiple of these. For example, I have Bejeweled from both Steam and Origin. In the game details window, I see an icon with 2 overlapping diamonds and the number 2. If I click that icon, it is actually a drop-down and i can select which one to look at (origin or steam). When looking at the game details window, just under the title, to the right of the rating stars, is the platform that you are looking at. The Play vs Install icon at the top is specific to that platform's game instance. So if I click the double diamond icon and switch between Steam and Origin, the Play/Install icon changes as well (I have the Steam version installed, so it says Play, the Origin version says Install).

Hopefully that helps if this was just a tool familiarity issue.

Hey there, thanks for the reply. I don't believe this issue is a tool familiarity issue, though. What I'd like to see under my GOG page, for instance, is a filtered list of games I own only on GOG, without GOG Connect duplicates cluttering up the list. As you mentioned, games owned on multiple platforms will appear under each platform's page. As far as I can tell you can't hide Steam duplicates on GOG's page, and vice versa, which is what I'd like to do so I can quickly see just my GOG games.

Hope that makes sense and do let me know if I'm still missing something about the available filtering options.

I see what you are saying. You are looking for filtering but are only offered sorting.

You could sort by platform and then all of the GOG only will be together.

What I would like ot se is sorting that is using the existing list as the sort base and leave the current oder when there is no difference between values. For example, click on titleto sort alphabetically. Then click on platform and you will see all of the GOG games alphabetically, then the gog & Steam games alphabetically, etc. Or sort on title, then sort year and see all years, alphabetically by year (1991 alphabetically followed by 1992 alphabettically, etc) right now, if you click platform to sort by platform, all of the GOG games are in some random looking order (probably the order in which they were added to GOG Galaxy).
