I configured GOG Galaxy 2.0 to work Battle.net, Steam, Epic and Origin. All plugins manage to connect without errors except Steam. I wished Valve was more cooperative. :)

Simplex: I am unable to add steam integration, message is "Steam - Plugin has crashed. (Retry)"
It seems the Steam plugin doesn't move properly from the \downloaded folder to the \installed folder when updating. I shut down Galaxy, copied the \steam_bunch-of-characters folder to \installed, then started Galaxy and logged in to Steam through the Settings.

It doesn't prevent the plugin to crash, but when hitting Retry it starts again properly, at least for a time.
I'm having this same problem; I was at least able to get my library imported, but the plugin keeps crashing and I can't get tags on there, which is a major annoyance considering how much tagging I've done on Steam. I really don't want to have to retag my entire collection.

Is there any way for us to submit logs or the like so the dev team can gather data on why this is happening?

Yes this soo frustrating. I was hoping to escape having to use the new steam library but the steam plugin just keeps crashing every 30 seconds. All my other plugins are doing fine so its steam specific at the moment which of course has most of my games. Would really be nice to hear something from the devs that they at least are aware of the issue and are working on it.
Another case of the Steam plugin crashing every few seconds. I have tried all the solutions and nothing works. Steam was working just fine from last July until two weeks ago. Yeah, it would be reassuring to hear something from the Devs...
All the other plugins are working. And I really like the library! The addition of the stacked titles is exactly a thing I wanted. Would like to see a Platform category for the "Other". This is where I keep hard copies.
Same problem here. Have already created a bug report for this. After the last client update it feels much worse than before - even deleting the plugin folder doesn't fix this anymore.

Me and other people have this problem now for a very long time. I can't undersantd that the dev's don't fix such a central component of their client, or give feedback to the community about this. Steam integration is unusable for me, wich makes GOG 2.0 useless for me...

Same here. I've not had an issue with Steam till then... I've only been using for a few months now.... Likely after July.
well, If things like this continue happening, this project makes less and less sense. The whole thing is centered around being able to connect.

For me it's now losing the main use I have for it, getting sure I don't buy games I already have.
The same was happening to me, I fixed it by deleting Steam and Origin plugins (it was failing too) located in "C:\Users\(your user)\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed" and re downloading them.
