I am unable to add steam integration, message is "Steam - Plugin has crashed. (Retry)"

Same here since this morning. It's been working fine since I got into the beta then I updated the client this morning and it broke Steam and only Steam. I submitted a bug report in the client.

It worked long enough to import my library (or at least most of it) but I've had the same result since.

I was looking at the code and seems the developer tried to fix this issue by releasing version 0.29.2 of the plugin.
Can you do the following to make sure you're using the newest version?
Go to:
C:\\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\gog.com\galaxy\plugins\installed
Navigate to Steam and check manifest.json file to see which version you're currently using.

If it's version other than 0.29.2:
Restart the Client -> wait a minute or two -> Restart the Client -> Check if the issue with steam crashing is still there

And when you restart the client, you can download the new plugin automatically..

Hello there.

Just got into the beta, I'm using the latest version of the steam plugin, 0.29.3 and it's happening to me as well.

Any clues?

Tried unlinking and relinling Steam account, still happens.
Tried rebooting GoG Galaxy after that, still happens as well.

No effect for me...

First try to add my steam account for me.

I log in , it's ok
then I put the security code
then I click on" go to steam"
and , I have the red error "connexion lost" ...

Rofl.
If anyone has an idea to help.
I do a report in app for this bug

Today I tried deleting the steam integration, downloading latest release, and linking my account again.

The problem is still present. I wish I could contribute more, unfortunately I suck at coding. :/

If I close the steam client then everything works fine but when the steam client runs then the steam-plugin crashes.
