Origin is just flat out broken, Steam will start working if I click "retry" but will later crash in the background. Mostly a problem because those games will no longer show up as "installed" and you can't actually launch them from Galaxy any more because it doesn't think they are installed.

Yes I know it's a beta but does anyone have possible fixes for these issues?

I do have occasionally some problems with Origin crashing, but not Steam. I'm afraid all our user experiences tend to vary for whatever reasons. I'd suggest you to 'report issue' and include the 'logs' folder, as indicated there, if you haven't done so already.

You could try to manually update them and see if that fixes the issue, id recommend you take a peek in this thread and on the mantis tracker.
