After the recent update and/or installing and setting up the Steam Mobile Autenticator, the Steam integration in GOG Galaxy 2.0 stopped working.

That is - after every shutdown, GOG Galaxy shows the Steam integration as offline, and clicking "retry" to try to force a reconnect does not work. The only way to make it work is to login every time from zero.

Anyway to make it work in a persistent way? Deactivating 2FA is a complete no-go.

There is an ongoing issue with the steam integration for some time now.

I've had a similar issue. My Steam integration was offline and unable to connect.
I found out that, for some reason, the plugin was unable to update to the new version.
So I completely closed Galaxy and deleted
steam_[..a bunch of numbers..]-storage.db file from %programdata%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\plugins\
and
steam_[..a bunch of numbers..] folder from %localappdata%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\
After the next Galaxy launch, I was able to download the new Steam plugin in the integration settings.
Connected again, and everything is working fine so far.

It doesn't work for me. I deleted the database, the plug in, I restarted it and I reconnected it. It reads about... 800-850 games from 4960. And it stops. Sync does nothing.
That should hemp most having the same problem.

Hi,

There is a problem with the file:
backend_steam_network.py
located at
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\steam_ca27391f-2675-49b1 -92c0-896d 43afa4f8

I found a temp solution but i do not know how to upload, it says wronf format.
So, still not able to make steam integration work, should I switch to playnite?
