Hi,

I have a small issue.
None of my steam friends appears in the friends list of GOG Galaxy 2.0. Even if some of them are online.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Thanks

Try logging in to Steam chat in your web browser and set your status to online https://steamcommunity.com/chat/

Make sure your Steam integration in GOG Galaxy settings says 'Connected' and isn't 'Offline', 'Crashed', or 'Failed'.

Thanks for the help, I did as you suggested but sadly it did not solve the issue.
Would you (or anyone else) happen to have any other suggestions?

Just a side note that currently there are two separate friend lists in GOG Galaxy 2.
First is a pop-up window accessible from the left menu called "Friends online" - it doesn't work with Steam yet.
And the other list is a "Friends sidebar" which is displayed as a panel on the right of the main window. This list contains friends from other platforms including Steam. To display this second list your Galaxy window width must be at least 1500px. Try maximizing the Galaxy window. Note that there is an arrow button on the top right to toggle the "Friends sidebar". Make sure that "Show online friends as a sidebar" is enabled in Galaxy settings.

Indeed, this was my issue, now I feel a bit stupid. Thanks!

Certainly. For now, we've got to wait for the Galaxy team to get it done.
There was only one list of "Online Friends" in the previous Galaxy builds. It was meant to include friends from all the platforms. But it wasn't working as intended, and for now they have decided to split the lists.
