For the most part, I have not had any issues adding games via Steam, with exception of one game, which is not showing up for some reason. DreadOut: Keepers Of The Dark. The first DreadOut is showing up just fine, but Keepers of the Dark is not showing up.

Anyone else have any similar issues with this game, or any other game?

Not me personally, but it seems a known issue and has been reported a few times (along with other games). For example: https://mantis2.gog.com/view.php?id=8270

Such similar bugs have already been 'assigned' (status), so hopefully they will fix this at some point. :)
