Hey. I tried to make portable installation of galaxy 2 but failed. Basicaly I used innounp to extract the application to a custom directory and ALLPROFILES to ProgramData. It works fine but problem arises when the game repair begins, only when galaxy is trying to install redistributables. This works even if I use normal installer and replace files in program files with extracted ones. Does this have anything to do with the registry or services? The event viewer shows errors when trying to extract the application in a custom directory, but there are no problems when using the installer. This is not a big deal, I can use the offline installer with arguments, but it would be nice to have a different way of installation.

Ps. I tried adding exceptions to firewall and even disabling antivirus, still failed.

Is there a simple way to keep Galaxy 2.0 along with Games on an SDXC card?
Let`s say I am visiting a friend with my card and we want to play together, do I need to install Galaxy on his computer or could I use my card?

I will work in this thread to complete Portable Galaxy. This is for my G10 Project (GOG`s Games + from 2010-2019 years on a same external disk, the main reasons to use Galaxy are achievements, online multiplayer, and saves cloud, and the one for offline is playing in extreme places, visiting friends, G90 and G2 projects are offline retro consoles/laptops, [G2 could be on portable Galaxy]I like website view, tags and forum works better with external links, also chat is better experience)

example 1 I want to unlock an Achievement in Metal Slug Playing Locally with Friend (and not just to pretend and can`t invite, I want to take Galaxy on an sd card with me)

example two, I am playing Baldur`s Gate on my laptop, but need to go, so swapping card to my Windows tablet expecting the fun to continue, saves to the cloud

3 going for holidays, there is a good desktop at the place, taking my SDXC card with 150 games installed and Galaxy on it to keep going, while the machine at a new place does not allow installing anything I keep continue

I can do the above without Galaxy, but I will make it with it : D
