Hello. I'm still new to using GOG. I am currently using GOG Galaxy to run my games but i usually like to play offline and I sometimes manually turn off my WiFi after launching the game. And i noticed that in the "Extras" panel on a game page in the Galaxy launcher that you can download offline installment files but is there a way i can play a Galaxy-installed game offline without needing to download the offline files? There is a shortcut to the game on my desktop page after downloading it from Galaxy but it doesn't do anything except direct me to the Galaxy launcher which isn't accessible offline either.

PS. I install my games through Galaxy instead of the offline files because of the cloud saving feature and the guarantee of patching and updating, unless I'm not understanding how anything works lol.

Go into the folder of the game you want to play and look for a shortcut file named "Launch XY*". Copy that shortcut to your desktop and launch the game through it.

* replace with the name of the game

Thanks for responding. So the game I recently installed is Bioshock 2. It has a shortcut on my desktop added by GOG Galaxy titled "Bioshock 2", from there i right clicked it, went to Open file location > Games (GOG Galaxy folder) > Bioshock 2 > from there i only see a "Launch Bioshock 2" shortcut, is this it?

Yes it is. Copy that file to your Desktop and use it to launch the game. It will only launch the game and not GOG Galaxy + Game.
