Anybody have this not showing up? I can find Outer Worlds in there by searching for it, but it just says "play on your xbox console". It doesn't recognize that I have it installed even though it sees my other Xbox Gamepass games and sees the achievements I've unlocked.

It does show up for me after trying it out as part of the game pass. Keep in mind that, from my experience, you need to have launched the game at least once with your Xbox profile for it to show up on GOG.

Stupid Question, but how do you launch the game with the xbox profile? I just launch the game with the xbox(beta) app or directly.

When launching it it signs you into your Xbox profile automatically (when it shows the "syncing data" window), using the account your Windows 10 profile is linked to (you can have a different account and profile in the Windows 10 Store independently of the one you use to play and use the rest of the PC).

So yeah, just launch it once and it will now appear as played in your Xbox profile and thus should appear on GOG Galaxy, you may need to resync integrations though.

I too have to problem of the outer worlds not showing up on GOG Galaxy 2.0. It showed up fine for Gears 5, Dead Cells and Forza Horizon 4 but not The Outer Worlds. Game has been lanched multiple times, tried manual syncing but no luck.
Thanks for the detailed FrAnubis. With the infos I did some digging.

Maybe it helps someone else too.
Found out that there are more Apps than just the "Xbox (beta)", opened the "Xbox Console Companion" to see my Xbox Profile and noticed that there is no entry for any of the games I played with gamepass. In the early days of W10 I disabled alot of W10 "features" and I found out that the "Gamebar Presence Writer" is updating the Xbox Profile. I blocked it via firewall, so I had to allow it if I want the updates.
Also if you're having problems with MP you can go to Settings -> Gaming -> Xbox Networking and look if there is a problem with Teredo. In my case the Fix it button helped, if not look into further details that are mentioned there.

After appearing in the Xbox Profile it also appeared in GOG. Now for some reason it doesn't detect the Install for Outer Worlds but for all the other games. Not sure why that is but maybe I look into that later. Little busy with playing ;)
