So after the last gog server crash when the website wasn't reachable there was the same problem with Gog Galaxy 2.0 servers.

It seems that at this point Galaxy 2.0 client doesn't have an offline mode which is an oversight especially since the older Galaxy client had that and all the other competitive clients also have that.

The result was essentially 4 hours of not being able to start Galaxy to play games cause it couldn't connect to the servers.

I mean I know I can launch games manually but this kind off beat the purpose of the client if its not working at all. Especially for most younger gamers that never launched a game without any kind of client.

Thats strange, maybe you should open a support ticket about that - I use Galaxy 2 on a regular basis without internet connection, and besides features relying on a connection (savegame sync, playtime count, etc.) not working I have no problem starting Galaxy and starting games.
