I have just recently been turned onto GOG Galaxy 2.0 launcher. I want to bring together my Itch, Twitch, Epic and Steam libraries into one place, along with my GOG games. I have installed it and have been playing around with it, but I have three questions I can't seem to answer on my own. Any help would be appreciated.

1. One of the games I have on GOG is Obduction*, and every time I use the GOG launcher it tries to install the game then fails. I do not want it to install the game at all. I cancel the installation/download, but in a few minutes it automatically starts trying to install it again, and I can't seem to stop it. How can I control whether GOG tries to install a game or not? Why not make it a 'rick-click' option on the game itself, whether in the library or in the 'downloads' tab?

2. If I want all my games to be downloaded to a storage drive instead of my SSD, but a platform like Itch, by default, tries to download and install a game on the SSD, will GOG give me the option to make an itch game download on the storage drive?

3. I have been trying to add Itch and Twitch libraries to the launcher, but I seem unable to do it. I go to the settings icon on the top-left, go to 'Add games & friends' --> Connect Platforms --> __ but Itch and Twitch do not appear as options in the list of available platforms. I know I'm supposed to be able to add them somehow - what am I missing?

I did peruse the forums (and Google) a bit for answers before asking these questions but my patience grew too thin when I failed to find answers. Any help would be appreciated.

Itch is not a platfrom the Galaxy ui understands and that is the underlinning issue here [see image]

1. Galaxy is trying to install the game because it doesn't know you already have it installed... starting from your 'owned games' tab, hit the + and add your Itch games one at a time

2 & 3. after adding the games, navagate to their install folders i.e, tell galaxy where they are installed

now where you install itch games is between you and itch... it has nothing to do with Gog and Galaxy so just tell the ui where you installed them or uninstall them first and move them off your SSD is what I'd do in this senario

p.s, Google, really? ;)

Seemed worth a try
I'm a little upset - seems like the rest of my comment was lost when I posted it. I basically thanked you, explained that the only reason I got GOG Galaxy was because I thought it could integrate Twitch and Itch at platforms, and that I hope they update in the future. I also mentioned that some people turned to things like github to get itch integration on GOG [I can't post links at this time, but you can find what I'm talking about Ertego / gog-galaxy-itch [dot] io. If anyone knows how that stuff works, I'd appreciate you letting me know. Twitch should be an easy platform to add though, so I don't understand why that's not already integrated (or, at least, I hope it will be integrated shortly).
yes it is possible to code a plugin but that is only going to happen [officially] after Itch and Gog come up with some kind of deal i.e, once Gog allows it and does all the coding

you can make your own code but keeping it up to date will be a pain so the one at a time is the best option for most people... at least for now

enjoy your games mate
