Seems like it was a update but not sure
Same thing happen to me an hour ago. Malwarebytes detected malware from:
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\redists\GalaxyCommunication.exe
cloudstorage.gog.com

Shut down GOG and tried launching it around 15 minutes later. Same detection almost immediately upon launch, different IP Address. Uninstalled GOG Galaxy and waiting until this issue has been resolved.

I am waiting to see what's up. I have Gog running so I will keep and eye on things and see! I thought maybe an update was released but no.
All my games cloud sync are failing also!
Malwarebytes had a small update I think has fixed it now!

I checked their forums and people there were posting the same issues we had. Seems like all that was needed was to manually update Malwarebytes. I'm still keeping it uninstalled for a little while longer just in case some other report pop up, but as of now it seems to have been a false positive.
