Hello, I'd like to talk a bit about the integration of platforms in GOG Galaxy 2.0, which, in my opinion, has been lacking for some time now. Sure, one might quickly respond that there are other posts addressing this topic or that there are already solutions to our problems, but this is not exactly the point I want to raise here.

First of all, let's start with the presentation page of GOG Galaxy 2.0, which is mainly focused, about 80% of the page, on the fact that it integrates all the other platforms to launch them. However, in the end, it almost feels like false advertising because, in reality, these are modules partly created by the community.

I have nothing against the community contributing to the evolution of certain things, but I don't understand why GOG doesn't seem to allocate a small resource to update the basic fixes of its launcher to avoid users having to change a dozen lines of code in the integration files.

It seems to me that this should be the foundation, especially as previously mentioned, since this is a major argument of your product. I believe a reflection is needed, and why not start the debate?

Best regards
