Okay I like the idea of this and so far its looking promising but incomplete.

You have to combine all other platform messengers just like you have the games library. Without the Social aspect which would actually make this app standout, it won't succeed. I can understand its in beta, but your in beta and not testing it out already?

So what is the status of combining messengers?

I remember a long time ago there was a messenger app that combined AOL, MSS, ICQ, Yahoo etc into one client. I can't remember the name but you have to pull this off.

So whats going on with that?

I wouldn't hold your breath mate

I just downloaded GoG galaxy, thinking it would actually unite my games and friends in one place, but it doesn't.

You can see who is online but you can't even communicate with them. After looking more closely on the product page there is a "soon" behind the Cross-platform-chat. I should have looked better before downloading.

I will, sadly, be uninstalling GoG Galaxy.

Well then they have intentions of doing said, what kind of timeframe?

Would be nice for some sort of official statement and response as like you stated without this feature this client is pointless.

Been a really long time, this point still stands to this day. Are all your friends using this client, are you?

Without the combined social aspect of this client, its merely a game view organizer. In which there are already other alternatives out there for this. Again the only thing that could really make this unique and wildly successful is Friends list/Chat integration. Once client to rule them all.

When I open your friends list I see Zero Online. Before I remember at least I would see friends online but couldn't chat with them. Seems like its going backwards to me.

If this isn't being included I don't see this vine living for long and support dwindling and dying as no mass group will be using it.

Could I be wrong sure.. Time will tell, would love for you to rub it in my face..

What is the status of fiends list / chat integration into GOG?
