Is there a way to move the client to another hard drive? I cannot select the path during installation nor can I find an option in the settings. Moving the entire folder gives me an error upon launch that says the client is already running on another user (which is wrong as I am the only user). It default installed to my "D" (not C for some reason) drive but i want it on my "E" drive. Old client was installed correctly.

Was Client version 1.2 installed before on drive D ? If so maybe the "smart" installer decided to do an upgrade. Try uninstalling and reinstalling Galaxy 2 ( your library should not be affected by that) and see wether you now can choose the path

Old client was on drive E. I already tried a reinstall, too. But then again I tried to uninstall the old client before installing the new one but that did not work as I moved everything (including gog galaxy) from drive D to drive E and windows could not find the new path for the uninstall. So I just deleted the folder. Windows though it was still on D despite it working perfectly fine on E. I guess the installer though it was there, too. Just wish there was an option to choose a path in the installer.

usually thats the case, I tried it on a system where no Galaxy had gone before, and I could choose the path - maybe its some configuration file (in appdata\local\gog.com) ?

I don't think so. I uninstalled the entire gog folder in appdata local and it still gives me the same error and no way to select a path...
