I tried Galaxy once but hated how it pulled in all my games from other platforms. After I had set it up there seemed no way to convert Galaxy to only show GoG games again. In fact I found it very clunky to use. That was something like 2 years ago. Has it got any better, can you set it up to do what you want or is it still messy?

sorry but thats bull Galaxy has never forced your other platforms in... you have to sync Steam, Origin etc or manually import the games one at a time

just click owned games then filter by platform [see image]

some things have changed in the last 2 years and some of those changes are for the better but if you find it 'clunky' or messy then don't use it... thats your right

Yeah of course I synced steam etc, but then decided it wasn't such a good idea, and try as I might I couldn't un-sync those accounts. They kept coming back every time I booted up Galaxy.

What I was looking for was someone who knew what I was talking about and had knowledge of if things had gotten better from a few years back.

basically you have to send a note to Gog support , tag it [Disconnect integration] and be very clear about which platform you want removed

Thanks for the reply.
OMG, so it's still a pos? Why on earth would you have to go through that process? What's wrong with a simple option that I can click?
It's as if they are making money out of these 3rd platform connections.. Why else would they want you to juggle 10 plates while singing Dixie to shut them down?

Think I'll stick with my manual installations. It's less bother. I mean the idea of GoG is to make gaming as simple as possible but then they and go and make the worlds most unfriendly launcher know to man and aliens.
