Starting today I'm getting pop-ups on the bottom right of my screen even when I don't have Galaxy open. I have it run at start up and auto log me in so I can access my library fast, but I don't open the GOG Galaxy store unless I'm using it. It was running in the background and I was doing something else when I started getting these pop-ups today.

The pop ups are advertising resident evil. It's not on my wishlist and I don't care about it, and I did go into settings and looked at the notification options and I don't see a setting that would disable an ad for a game that I'm not interested in.

I can only assume that GOG has fallen down the rabbit hole of targeted ads and is going to continue to send me more pop-ups for games I don't want and don't care about.

How can I turn this off? I don't want to see your ads. The pop-ups are annoying and interfere with other things I want to do.

If I can't turn off the targeted ads, I'm going to have to uninstall GOG Galaxy. Then from now on I'll just download and install my games manually, since I believe GOG still offers that option?

its a Windows setting option not a Gog thing... you can pick what does or doesn't get to popup
