Galaxy has always had the issue where it says it needs to update, goes through the motions and says "Update failed."

Normally I grab the latest version from the site, install that and I'm okay until the next update.

However, recently Galaxy has refused to start, full stop. Process Manager shows that it's running in the background but it won't start.

A bit of research and someone on here suggested using Compatibility Mode WinXP SP3, which I ticked and voila, it started. It wouldn't update my games though, with "Update Failed" on those games.

Now, even with XP mode on/off, "Run as administrator" on/off, doesn't matter. It won't start at all.

No error message, no nothing. Just the desktop.

Can anyone help, it's driving me crazy.

so are running windows 11 or vista & I assume you tried disabling antivirus?
