When I look at the changelog it says 2.035 when I open settings, in the bottom left it says 2.023. My Galaxy updates practically every time I open it, so I am assuming it's not updating. Unfortunately, you get no information at all. No "Update Installed" or the like. Galaxy just closes down, and then you have to restart it.

Anyone have this problem?

I'd suggest to manually update the client by downloading and running the latest installer: https://www.gogalaxy.com/. This will be the quickest way to fix the issue. You can always also contact GOG Support, but they're currently overloaded with work.

Re-installed GOG Galaxy, as you suggested. It downloads 2.08. It then wants to update to 2.088. Having installs 2.088, the changelog is back to saying 2.035, but in the settings window it now says 2.088. So I am still no better off! Assuming 2.035 is actually the latest version! I assumed, like you, if you downloaded it, it would be the latest version. But it is obviously not!

Did you try to enable the beta participation in GOG Galaxy settings? Maybe it'll trigger the update...

Will go and check that now. Then edit this message.

Just be sure to wait a few hours after enabling the beta access. The update needs some time to trigger.

Thanks for all you help. You're a star! Still have to say, surprised downloading it doesn't give you the latest version....! :(

If you still can't update to the newest version, I suggest that you contact GOG Support. But you'll have to be patient because they're overloaded with work unfortunately.

Contacted support with my first message. So it's been a long time already. But i'll wait. Galaxy has been working fine for a while now, haven't found any bugs or had problems recently.
