I had GOG Galaxy pre-2.0 and it told me I needed to download the newest version instead of just updating so I did that. It gave me an exe file that says it’s downloading GOG Galaxy when I run it. However, nothing happens when it finishes. It just goes away and it’s not installed. I completely uninstalled the old version so that can’t be the issue. The exe also doesn’t ask me for a launcher install location so I don’t even know where it’s trying to install.

Does anyone have any idea what the issue is?

Did you try to download the 2.0 installer once again? Maybe your current installer is broken for some reason.

i am stil getting the same error . setup has detected that GOG Galaxy is curently running. ( it is not) i cant play my games because it wont update??????) Please close all instances of it now, then klick OK or Camcel to exit.

what do or can i do. i tried the above link and i stil get it.
