The 2.0.60 update removed the menu feature to report a bug in the GOG Galaxy client. So how is someone supposed to report a found bug? Smoke signals? A Vulcan mindmeld?

Gog Galaxy doesn't seem to be connecting to steam.
When I connect it says offline, "retry". I've tried to implement various workarounds suggested by various users (patches from GitHub), but none of them have worked. And yes I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting many many times now and with the different methods too.

Could you make a patch for this, please?

Is it allowed through the firewall? Can games update?
Are you on 2.0.60

Nobody had read bug reports in ages, which is why the menu item was removed. The only way to report a bug is to submit a support ticket.
