Hi guys.
I tested GOG Galaxy 2.0 since the technical alpha. With each update, my experience with it got worse. Now it has reached the point that GOG Galaxy 2.0 is flat out unusable for me. And I fear for the worst when it will be released.

When nowadays I do a fresh install of GOG Galaxy 2.0 after I made sure that there are no more files left from a previous install, it always - and I repeat: ALWAYS - crashes directly after I start it. It runs for a maximum of 30 seconds, than it crashes.
I can't even send crash reports because as soon as I press "Send", the crash report window itself crashes. I can't get to settings, I can't do anything, Galaxy 2.0 just crashes.

I fear for the worst when it will be released. If they disable the old GOG Galaxy aka 1.x and make GOG Galaxy 2.0 mandatory, as it is now, I will no longer be able to download my games. At least I don't know if there is another way of downloading all your stuff from GOGs servers without using the Galaxy client. If there is, please tell me.

I don't know what to do because whatever I do, whatever I try, Galaxy 2.0 crashes everytime after max 30 seconds after I start it. 100% reproducable.
I guess it has something to do with the sheer number of games I have on all my accounts but when I first start it, it only should import my GOG games. And I don't think my number of games on GOG is so high that it could create those problems.

Go to https://www.gog.com/account and click on one of the games there. It'll bring up a display with all the game info including links to standalone installers.

Thank you very much! Although I feel a little bit of ashamed now :D

It's fine, when you're used to Steam and see Galaxy being promoted, it's easy to overlook other options if you have a trouble with the initial one.

Unfortunately I don't have any real ideas for your other issue. :/ I have close to 700 games between here, Steam, and Twitch, and things have been running OK. I have seen some other threads with people with 1000+ games saying they've had loading issues, though.
