I feel betrayed. I have always been a fan of CDPR and cyberpunk 2077. I have defended it in all online discussions and recommended it to all my friends, recommending them the settings with the best balance of graphics and performance so that they can enjoy the game as much as I do. I bought the game right after the release, I preferred gog steam so that all my money went to CDPR without giving 30% to Gabe.
I'm from a village with slow internet, so downloading takes few days and requires an entire line of communication. After a day and a half of loading, I had to turn off the computer, after which the download progress became zero and now I will again have to sleep under the noise of the fans.
The situation in the world is rapidly destabilizing, I am a hundred kilometers from the war zone and want to distract myself by moving to the streets of Night-city, which have become even more beautiful with patch 1.5, but I can only watch zero percent loading of my favorite game

if slow download speed is the big bad thing that happens to you this month... feel lucky
Did you try pausing the download, then completely exiting GOG Galaxy before shutting down the computer?

You can try getting the offline installers, using a download manager that supports resuming and multi-threaded downloads.

That being said, it seems download links are valid for less than 12 hours. So even a download manager that supports resuming wouldn't be able to continue the download after too much time has passed.

Yeah that's not going to work, Gog is a scam. Any money spent here is the same as burning it.
