I love this launcher so much, I can lose track of time just managing my library in ways never before possible. But, I hate the launcher changing colors for every game I click. I wish for an option to keep the gog purple theme permanent.
An option for this would be beautiful.

I found a fantastic looking dark green background that makes my eyes super happy. Unfortunately, it goes away every time I even look at a different page.
Completely agree.

And while we are at it, just give us more control over the color scheme, the transparency effects, etc.
I agree that it would be cool to select just one color or even what cycle of colors the user prefer.
I love the dynamic theme, but it would be nice to have options to control it to user choice too.
Agreed as well - especially since some colors are hard to read.
Agreed. As i posted before, multiple themes would be nice.Purple theme, oldschool gog green theme etc...

Agreed. Would love this.

Disagreed. There are very few new options, and a few missing ones from previously (using website-assigned tags, for example, as well as sorting by last played). I actively like some elements of the layout, but there are multiple serious problems with it. That said...

I do agree with you about this. And with the "give us options" comments. Forcing dynamic colour changing on users is terrible. Especially given that the current theme is a low-contrast dark theme, both of which are potential problems for many users, especially when they come together as a matching pair. Not having a proper light mode, AND not having any high contrast options, combine to cause serious issues for a fairly significant portion of GOG's customer base. Adding in another "feature" that many users would be far more comfortable being able to revert on top of the already-severe problems in place is all kinds of unpleasant.
Ok, it's a free app. But there are obviously resources dedicated to updating it. So, why are very popular fan recommendations ignored? I'm not a programmer; but some of the more common fan suggestions don't seem to be all that complicated to introduce. Ignoring their user base is insane! It has to be aa control thing, or perhaps a pride thing (i.e., they didn't think of whatever idea was suggested). Some gripes of mine: custom image limit (no reason for this), dynamic background color (this should be an option), not a user-friendly way to add a game that's not in their database (sure, we can just rename an unused title, but this is a pain - why, because it requires a custom image that you are putting a limit on!!!). Ok, enough of that! I share your pain and hope for some user-recommended improvements soon. But I'm not holding my breath!
