I just installed a new proper router (MikroTic Hex S) and now Galaxy starts up Offline and won't connect. It does work fine if I switch back to my old router. I tried searching support for firewall rules needed for Galaxy. I'm still learning how to manage a proper router and not yet sure how to figure out what rules are blocking and what rules I need to allow Galaxy through. Is this documented somewhere? What do I need to do to get Galaxy back onine?

Thanks.

It might be better to write a ticket to the support (log in if needed).

While waiting for an answer, you can try to use a network sniffer to see what does Galaxy try to reach.
And read the new router's documentation. Maybe the problem lies within it.
it has nothing to do with support because the router he installed is blocking the ports at his end... its also worth saying that US networks are a little different to Poland or Australia

what you should do is open all the ports and then close them one at a time until things stop working unlike most sold systems that assume everything is a threat and just block the lot

p.s, game clients don't like Ports being re-mapped to HTTP or reconfigured to a custom port ranges... that BS doesn't work in the real world and is best kept in the textbooks schools push onto students
Thanks for the replies. This is resolved. Stupid user error. I goofed the DHCP settings on the new router. It manifested strangely just blocking GOG.
