Not sure what's up with Galaxy lately, but it takes a good five minutes to load. Couldn't even make this report through the Galaxy UI because it takes so long to load and then equally as long to respond to any commands.

This has been getting progressively worse to the point that it is currently unusable for me.

Have you tried to reinstall the client? Don't worry, all of the games will stay. If that doesn't help you should try to contact GOG Support: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us.

As suggested by Sarafan, I would uninstall Galaxy, make sure all left over files are removed (except for game files of course), re-install then import the games.

I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

EDIT: nope. Still taking forever and my CD Projekt games are FUBARED: Witcher is stuck on terminal "updating," Witcher 2 says "update failed," and Witcher 3--which was installed--is no longer installed.

Please tell me there'll be an independent download option for Cyberpunk. Because at this rate, I won't be able to play it thanks to Galaxy issues.

There should be offline installers available like any other game on GOG. I would reach out to support though here: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?form=galaxy&product=gog as they may be able to help troubleshoot your issue with Galaxy.
