Hello,

I applaud the concept of the Galaxy launcher. For the most part it is a good piece of software. However, I am encountering and issue which is making it utterly useless for me.

I use a VPN and when I switch location I have to restart the Galaxy launcher to reestablish the connections to the various launchers. This is a minor inconvenience.

However the Galaxy launcher is able to reestablish connection to all launchers except Steam. I am aware that Steam has some VPN "issues", but even Steam does not require a renewed login when restarting after a location switch with my VPN. This problem is unique to the Galaxy launcher.

While I like the Galaxy launcher it is utterly useless if I have to reconnect with username and password on a regular basis. Are the any solutions to this issue?

Thanks
Huh, this post made me realize why Steam regularly needs me to reconnect it in GoG, since I use a VPN frequently too.

If your VPN Client supports a split tunnel you can exclude the GoG client from the VPN, that's what I'm about to try.

Edit: forgot to add, it's possible this is a quirk/security measure on Steam's end and not GoG issue.
