JonIrenicus13: You propably have figured it out by now. But, these are the steps:

1) Pick a game (any game will do) from the store
2) Game details -> link -> forum discussion
3) Select community
4) Bookmark the page you see

I did that, and when I open the forum Community page the bookmark icon is filled. But that's all.
Is there a way to get a link to the forum page in the left side menu?
From what I've seen on the forums, some people who had done this in 1.2 still have their bookmark carried over into Galaxy 2.0 but it doesn't work in 2.0 to create a new bookmark. Weirdness ensues.

bookmark still works for store [and other ]pages just not the forum unless you had the bookmark in place before they made the last update

fyi yes its easy to fix but Gog changed their script redirect codes a few weeks ago... I assume this blocking bookmarks was not actually the reason behind the change but there is no post from them about it

Thanks for the clarification. I meant to say bookmarks weren't working for this specific purpose, not in general, but wasn't clear with how I worded it.
