Hello,

whenever I try to download Galaxy 2.0 and then try an installation, it produces a nondescript error that indicates that I should contact support if the error persists.

Does anyone here have an idea why this is happening? Is it the download (browser incompabilities, whatever...) or is it just a bad file on the GOG side?

Any input is appreciated!

Try this:
1. Install both vc_redist.x86.exe and vc_redist.x64.exe.
2. Restart your system.
3. Launch setup_galaxy_2.0.67.2.exe, which is currently the latest full installer. Unlike the default one, this one doesn't need an Internet connection to work.

If that doesn't help, open a support ticket, if you haven't already. Tell the chatbot the issue is of type "other" twice to skip to that step.
