I've been looking everywhere, is there even a way to access the forums directly through the launcher? That would be a nice feature.

I was having the same issue. There might be a better of way of doing this but here is what I did. First I looked at a game in the store and used the forum link to get to the forums. Then I clicked on the coumunity link top left to get back to the main page. Then finally I clicked on the Tag icon at the top left of each page. This seems to have permanent added a link to the forums in my side bar. Hope this helps.
