It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hi Everyone,

Just want to give my 2 cents here.
It would be nice, if we could get a buton were you get to the GOG, Steam, or whatever the main Forum is from the Game we just selected.

Love GoG 2.0 so far.
It'd be difficult to get it to go to Steam forums, unfortunately, due to the way integrations work. However, they could always open the Steam forums in your browser or just emulate a browser window within the client similar to how the Store feature works within it. Then again, I'm not a professional programmer by any means, so maybe they could pull it off.

Either way, I'd love to at least be able to access the GOG forums through the client!

Yep that would be great. I live what GOG is doing, but I would wish for them to improve the Launcher to a level which comes close to Steam (Tbh, all that customisation thing I don't care, but the functionallity of Steam is great)
Yeah, they could at least bring the BASIC functions from the previous client. I do not like the new one. No clear links, it takes more steps to do what took a single one in the previous iteration. I do not know what they are thinking.

Why are there no direct options to get to the forums? I have to visit a game page first, move to its store page, then click the link to its forums only to be able to get to the general forum view. If that is not a failed design, then I do not know what one might be.

Edit: fixed typos

You can navigate to the forums from Galaxy and bookmark the page. Then the forums link will be available below the store and more offers link/bookmark, in the Galaxy left bar.

That is useful, thanks! Still, it is a workaround, I hope they do something about it. There are no notifications either. I have to check manually if somebody has happened to reply to me.
Not sure what kind f notification do you mean, but anyway the forum is the same forum than the browser one.
If someone has replied one your messages a notification "you have x messages unread" appears at the up right part of the screen above the space of the community wishes etc...
And if some topics have new entries the topic link at the right will be bolded colour. Specially more visible if you have chosen the dark theme for the forum.

Greetings

I'd still prefer to have a link to the forum of whatever game I own when I right click the game picture and the drop down menu appears. It would be more efficient than having to create a bookmark for each forum I want to view or searching for a particular forum on the main forum page.

And I am pretty convinced that feature will be implemented eventually.

Anyway personally what I am doing for years, even in pre Galaxy 2, is navigate to my forums from the main one. it served and serves to me to keep an eye for any news in my owned games' forums as a whole.
