Hi there,
Upon launching GOG Galaxy any installed games go thru an update (if any). While this is set using the global settings in the Galaxy client, it appears this is the only download setting (other than pause while playing. Recently I purchased Baldur's Gate 3, and today there is a patch that's a whopping 63GB. While in the process of downloading, I ran into the need to stop the download for another bandwidth intensive task. Unfortunately, if I stopped the download, it would erase everything I've downloaded up to that point!.

Reluctantly, I did turn it off and had to start from scratch again. If possible, I'm hoping the devs at GOG can insert/implement/create a "Pause Downloads - Pause Updates" feature to prevent the loss of existing data already acquired.
Same if you quit the client it seems.
I feel very bad of not having taken it on steam now. I was at 50Go when I quit and couldnt believe my eyes when the download started again after I launched the client.

Also the download indicates 4% for 500 MB out of 63 Go. It looks like Bar Mathematics.

And there is a bug with the download speed. Am I on the development version of the client and I forgot ?
