It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Berzerk2k2: After installing the latest update I can't get my login to work anymore and all I get is this error message (see screenshot). Have to close GOG Galaxy via task manager then.
I'm also getting this (see attached screenshot) after a Windows 10 update this morning, which I assume also prompted GOG Galaxy to update to a broken version?

I have the same problem since two hours.
Cannot launch 'GOG Galaxy' anymore because of "Failed to load game database".
How to solve?
Impressively when I tried to use GOG's support bot, it told me to zip and upload log files… when their support chat only supports uploading " .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif, .mp4, .pdf, .mp3, .doc, .docx file" :-D

So broken. They don't even know how their own system works.
I too have the same issue per today.

As per P911GT3RS link:
close gog galaxy
rename "C:\Users\All Users\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\galaxy-2.0.db"
to
"C:\Users\All Users\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\galaxy-2.0.db.bad"
restart client
be patient as data is rebuilt

you might want to try a thing or 2
all my syncs seem out of order :/

I just restored the database from backup. Started Galaxy and the first thing it did was trashing it again.

What a fail. What kind of, um, person codes an update that not only trashes the existing data but then dies on what it just created itself?
Deleting the storage folder also allowed me back into the client - had to manually re-add games, which is fine i guess. The steam integration is totally broken for me now though
I get the same thing. Solution?
Luckily my actual favorite games are on 'Epic'. :p

Looks like we have to wait for a new launcher version...
Habe vor ein paar Minuten den Luncher Aktuallisiert und bekomme nun auch diese Fehlermeldung und es passiert nichts mehr.

Hoffe das bald eine Lösung gefunden werden kann.
If you have a backup of your configuration folder ( "C:\Users\All Users\GOG.com\Galaxy" ) from before the update, you can delete the installation folder ( "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy" ) and re-install the previous version from cdn.gog.com /open/galaxy/client/2.0.46.133/setup_galaxy_2.0.46.133.exe

This is what I did to not lose my game startup options and additional binaries configuration. Someone tell me when gog manages to release an update that actually works. Until then I'll just press "no" when being asked to update.
I'm also having this issue
It seems that I don't learn the hard way. After each new GOG Galaxy update, App failed to start. And still I have clicked "Yes" for latest one. GOG Galaxy is not even launching now. Says "Failed to load game database".
Same here. What gives?

I found a way to fix this. (Works on my machine)

1. Close GOG processes in task manager.
2. Go in the storage folder of the the launcher ("C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage")
3. Delete/move all the files containing the word "galaxy".
4. Start the launcher normally.
