Just got my invite for the beta (for those still waiting, I signed up the first day, and the invite only arrived today, so just be patient).

I download the installer stub, run it, then download goes pretty fast (downloading 225MB). It shows the "Installation is waiting to start", and then I get the message;


GOG Galaxy Web Installer
Something went wrong. Please try to download the installer again, if the problem persists contact support.gog.com


I've downloaded the stub a few times now, and tried running the installer itself many times, and always get the same message. I have a fast connection, plenty of disk space, and no problems downloading anything else.

Any ideas?

I'm getting the very same error just now too.

Same here, it just fails without an Error message. Is there a log somewhere to have a peek at what's going on?

I have the Same Problem, i am using Windows 10 Pro x64 Languaje Spanish.

Well yeah, but running the executable in this folder just gives the same error

Yeah, see post from Scorcher24 above - the file checksums don't match. Looks like the installer needs an update.

Yup, same. Utterly dissapointed. :P

Bah, should be fixed soon. Only thing is:! I already uninstalled GOG Galaxu 1.x :P

Seems like they've fixed it. Re-downloaded the exe file and it works now.
