As you might know, EA is currently doing a stupid thing having 2 different stores on PC : Origin and Desktop.
They are not compatible with each other and Desktop is mandatory if you want to play the EA Play games you get with the Xbox Gamepass PC...

Origin's Integration works fine but there is no integration of EA Desktop in GOG Galaxy right now.

Is there any plan of doing it in the near future ? Is there any way to do it manually ?

I believe the current Origin integration is a community made one so it should be possible to make one for EA Desktop though I don't know what they do about adding a Platform ID for it...

I agree. Integration is convenient. I'd love to see an integration in the GOG client for EA Desktop too.

And isn't Microsoft integration official? Hopefully it gets updated. I really like launching anything from one place. Can't us bloody American's get this through our thick skulls? Anyone remember that song by Tears For Fears was it? Or was it the Human League? Anyway how many hours do I have in BFV compared to Quake 1 now?

I agree as well. GOG Galaxy is my preferred platform because it consolidates my libraries from Steam to Epic all in one place.

Side note: Does anyone else experience a sluggish / slow response when using the Galaxy app ?

Galaxy rules! It works great and it's still just beta! Love it, love it. love it!!!

That said, EA Origin ends soon! Only EA Play will work. I so desperately need Galaxy to launch these titles with no interruption. So, bump. GAWD I miss the All Seeing Eye for real. Those were the good ol' days!
