Hi! So the last update broke my client and I uninstalled it to reinstall and see my bookmarks have cleared from the sidebar. Will it always be like that?

I have to find a way to restore what I had saved.

bookmarks are saved local so no... downloading to a new computer = you have to start again

the bottom line is Galaxy has LOTS of other issues which need fixing

You didn't read what they said. They uninstalled and reinstalled on the same PC... this tells me the bookmarks are saved in the program folder and not in user files which is absurd.

Same issue affected me.

Uninstalling wipes your local user data. If you don't want that, back up these folders while GOG Galaxy isn't running:
%AllUsersProfile%\GOG.com\Galaxy\
%LocalAppData%\GOG.com\Galaxy\

After reinstalling, restore the storage folder from the first path. If you also want your original settings, restore the config.json file from both paths as well.
