If this is THE GOG-endorsed official means of getting Battle.net games on GOG Galaxy, why isn't it just listed alongside PlayStation and Steam and Uplay and all the others?
I just updated my GoG Galaxy 2.0 client yesterday and though I would delete and re-add my manual integrations, so I redownloaded those. I followed the instructions to install into the ...plugins\installed\ folder, but now only Bethesda's shows up. I have battle.net, pathofexile, and twitch integration folders in place, but they do not show up under my galaxy manual integrations. Any ideas? Did I forget a step? I'm not a programmer or a Linux or command line kind of person, so I'm pretty much relying on plug and play at this point and it's a little frustrating.

Never mind, I figured it out. github was just confusing me. (Hint: Go to "Releases", not the "Clone or Download" option on the front page)

paladin181: You can now use the global search function to find Diablo II and add it to your owned list, then select a .exe file to execute. THe global search is not well labeled: it is the magnifying glass on the left pane of the screen

RottenRotz: Thanks for reply..Ok,so play button apeared, when i click it it says ''please wait we are launching a battlenet game''...and absolutely nothing happens.how do i add.exe file?
I can start games, but it doesn't count the time I spend in the game.

Yeah that's because the battle.net integration doesn't count playtime, I don't understand why Galaxy can't just start counting the playtime of the exe when it opens, even if it's through intergration.

The only way I could get my battle.net games to start counting playtime was to add them manually. But that means that it won't open through the battle.net launcher, and I have to write my account info everytime I open a battle.net game.

I'm guessing there is a good chance Battle.net will be built in before public launch. But Galaxy 2.0 supporting community made plugins to easily and quickly add support for linking/managing other store accounts is listed as a key feature in the marketing for 2.0 since it was announced.

At the very least though I'm pretty sure they will make installing plugins like the Battle.net, Bethesda.net, Twitch etc ones much easier than it is now. I'd be shocked if they didn't since not only has it been a listed/highlighted feature of 2.0 since announcement, but it dramatically helps future proof it since the community can get plugins to add support for newly announced stores/launchers (like Rockstars new store/launcher which already has a plugin for Galaxy 2.0 being worked on) much quicker than GOG.

RottenRotz: Need help here.So all 3 games from battle.net show just fine for me,but Diablo 2 (which is on battlenet classic) keeps asking me to install the game (the game is already installed).when i click install it just downloads installer fron blizzard page.any ideas?
Afraid not, working fine for me. I also have Diablo 2 from battle.net, installed and launched okay. But to be fair I haven't checked since the last big GOG Galaxy update. I'll re-check again if I remember.

Agreed. At least for the big ones as you mentioned.

It's just that they'll have to be clear though that some functionalities will work for some launchers/integrations, but not for others... as GOG devs are bound by what the launchers can "publicly" (even after users login and agree with) "reveal". Then, some launchers have intrinsically less functionality than others to begin with. So GOG has to be careful when they properly announce GOG Galaxy 2.0 out of beta. My opinion though.

I agree it'd be nice to have documented withing Galaxy which functionalities work/don't work/don't exist for each integration.

In the meantime I find this page useful as it makes a clear distinction between what isn't implemented yet by the integration and what isn't supported at all by each launcher https://github.com/mixaill/awesome-gog-galaxy
