I had cloud saves turned off globally, but for some reason they happened for two new games. One had an error, presumably because I was using a mod, I've gone through and made sure it's all disabled again, but now every time I open the game's page in Galaxy is says "Cloud Sync failed". Restarting Galaxy and my whole PC makes no difference, every time it tells me a feature I never wanted isn't working. I tried activating cloud saves then turning them off for that one game, but the checkbox is greyed out anyway. Just wondering if there's a cache or something I can delete without having to reinstall Galaxy.

each game is different for example "low magic age" is controlled by Galaxy and you turn sync on from there but baldurs gate 3 is not controlled by Galaxy so unticking sync does jack

in general games with their own accounts or launchers have very little to do with Galaxy
