I got a message about only having 200 mb for saves, I pretty much have modded Skyrim with over 1500 mods, so i know saves are bigger than the allotted space.
So went into settings and disabled cloud saves, and also under the game settings and it says " Cloud Saves are disabled in GOG Galaxy settings" but it still tries to sync every time I launch the game, making me wait several minutes before the game finally launches.
How can i really disable it? besides having to reinstall it and all the games?

I give up, the community wants to support you but you can care less, always ignore post from the community, never address the problems trying to ignore it or sweeping it under the rug doesn't help and is a bad look for you as you are supposed to be here for the gamer, or is it for your own TRYING too look pro gamer, but at the end of the day you are pro GOG.
I Give up erasing the client, and the sad thing is that i just to promote the client whenever i could letting people know they did need to have all their stuff open and even chat with the GOG client, but no more!!!
It's more a pain, then a QOL addition making me waste time that I can't afford to loose.

Trouble shooting things that should not need to be like the most basic of things: a simple ticking off cloud saves the program should respect my decision, but no keeps and doing it no matter what.

I'm done i'll stick to Steam, I won't even care about the free amazon games anymore I'll just give them away, is not worth the hassle that in my days off work I just want to sit relax and play, but no, have to spend hrs trouble shooting your clients problems which btw is not a beta is the official one!

There is no excuse and the worst part and saddest part is this won't be even seen or read by any staff of GOG as they ignore this, they only come in when they need to post something and leave.

And last, my money is also going with it, no longer going to buy here i don't care if steam shuts down and loose all my games, as you are now FORCING us to download the client in other to get the installers, that is a really big RED FLAG, keep listening to the investors and not your community, you will learn the lesson the hard way.

Apparently the setting to disable cloud saves isn't respected when using a custom game executable. Check this post and the one after it for possible workarounds.
