Hello there,

i have scoured the internet and forums high and low and have NOT found a fix for my issue sadly. For the past week or so whenever i tried to download a game through gog galaxy (for example, in my case i wanted to redownload Divinity Original sin 2) the popup for installing pop ups but is empty with a little loading symbol spinning and then nothing happens(see screenshot below). ever. sometimes it just exits and says server error.

Now i have already tried some of the fixes like restalling and restarting, deleting the program data gog database folder, i have all my firewalls disabled, etc. i noticed some people said it started randomly working for them a day or 2 after the problem, but its still persistent on my side a week later.
Now before i get told to download the offline installers i just wanna point out that there is 17 files of them which is gonna take me ages to download + more importantly the sole reason i wanna download the game is to play it with a friend and offline installers dont support gog integration so its useless to me.

I'm desperate for help or fix, i'm leaving for a month vacation in a few days and really wanna finally complete our playthrough.

Thanks for all the help and tips in advance and am very sorry for my passive aggressive tone, i am just very tired and angry because of this.

EDIT: Well today (next morning after posting) I have also tried downloading the old 1.2 Galaxy to see if it might download then but it still does the exact same thing.. shame

I'm also facing this issue.

I did what is mentioned in that page: https://support.gog.com/hc/fr/articles/360013537477-GOG-GALAXY-%C3%89chec-de-l-installation-E3-Mise-%C3%A0-jour-E3-%C3%89chec-de-la-connexion-aux-serveurs-de-GOG-com?product=gog but it hasn't changed anything.
I faced the same issue, and I was able to fix it by:

1. Completely close GoG Galaxy.
2. Disable IPv6 (search how to disable IPv6 in your OS online).
3. Open GoG Galaxy.

---

I figured this out by examining C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\logs\GalaxyClient.log which had the following error:

> [Error][ (0)] [TID 6132][galaxy_client]: An error occurred, Other, while performing request (requestId: 238) for URL '{redacted}' after 10003 ms. Exception: Timeout (connect timed out: [2001:1900:2318:1f03::2]:443), code=0
> [Error][ (0)] [TID 11820][galaxy_client]: Unable to get response for request url {redacted}. Response code Uninitialized.

You can see that the IP address shown there is IPv6, disabling it on my machine did the trick.
