try and reject the friend request and tell your friend to try again.

Did you try to accept the request directly through your browser? It should work.

Do you have the max friends of 249? It's capped at 250... so once you hit 249 no more friends can be accepted. Otherwise, it's possible the user either had their account locked or deleted or something like that and the friend request can't be processed.

This bug was known for YEARS and never fixed.

Got several stuck friend requests and after changing my own username recently I was able to accept ONE request (from the list of requests that couldn't be accepted) - the rest is still stuck.

This is annoying. I had friends request but I could not accept them. Today I found another invite: not working.
I'm sorry, but I find Galaxy and its problems (e.g. confusing interface and crashes after the client runs in the background) so important that I decided to buy Cyberpunk outside their platform too ...
It seems to me that they do not care much about Galaxy...
