So, I've started playing Witcher III for the first time, downloaded through GOG Galaxy, and normally launch it through that. I've also just got my SteamLink connection working again, so I set up Witcher III as a non-steam game in Steam so I can play it in my living room instead if I want.

If I do something while playing on the SteamLink through this setup that would normally score me an acheivement in Galaxy, will that actually register? Will I see that show up on Galaxy the next time I play through there? Or will the event just be missed completely?
