Here's a scenario: I own both Quake on Steam and Quake: The Offering on GOG. I want to merge them into one title to avoid redundancy in my library. In order to do that, I'd have to be able to manually merge Quake: The Offering into Quake. Additionally, it would be nice to label each of the variants I have installed.
