A swedish streamer is using the application Retro Game Gauntlet and having something like that built in in Galaxy would be neat.
I think streamers might like it.

That would be pretty cool.
By default it could pick any game.
A checkbox for "suggest only installed games".
And filters for everything you can filter your games by in Galaxy already.
Perhaps some range sliders for good measure -- for example, games you have played [range] hours.

I placed also the bat in a %PATH% folder and created a desktop shortcut. This way I can change the icon to whatever I like.

And since it is with SQL commands, it probably wouldn't be impossible to make a UI where you could have some settings that trigger different queries so you can do some filtering. I don't know how to do that myself since I don't know SQL, but I guess you can add AND arguments somewhere in the statement variable. Something like "from libraryreleases order by random() and installedonly() limit 1;" -- anyway, really cool script. Don't take this suggestion as a demand for more. I am just throwing ideas out there in case you want to expand this project.

I actually like this idea. I'm not sure how often I'd use it, personally, but it's a really cool idea.

I did something like this, but on the PC level. There's a utility you can get that adds "Select Random" to your right-click options.

If GOG implemented it, that would be awesome.

I've made a website that spits out a random game from your GoG Galaxy library (plugins included). You can also filter or make it less random depending on various parameters.
