SIerra's Manhunter 2
Probably Sierra's Gold Rush!.
My oldest is the Games is for the Creativision Video console/computer.

Planet Defender, Auto Chase, Tank Attack. (all from 1981)

On floppies is Indie Car Racing & World Circuit: Grand Prix Simulation
Battle Chess on 3.5 floppies, which apparently makes it 1988 or 1989. Unfortunately I no longer have the game manual, so I can't actually play my version because of the copy protection scheme. I still have the disks, though, so I could do it in DOSBox if I could be bothered to look up the codes online.
Hopkins FBI and Larry 7
Silpheed for DOS with the box, manual, 3 1/2 and 5 1/4 floppy disks along with Sierra's catalog and other promotional stuff.
A bunch of C64 games, all of them in tape format.

I threw out most of my boxes in a move 8 years ago. So, well one of my oldest is Civilization III, a beautiful big box, like the kind from our sweetest memories. ahhh.
EDIT: Just the disk? I don't know, I have some 5.1 inch floppy of a Lord of the Rings game hiding somewhere in my closet I believe. I'm letting it age like a fine wine in there.

It was Might and Magic 3, but I sold all my boxes last year.

Very freeing, I suggest it to all.
Not sure really. First of all, I got rid of most of my game boxes years ago, just keeping the manuals and CDs in small plastic bags, just to free some room at my home. But I presume these count too.

Anyways, I presume I still have my original Wing Commander and Red Baron boxes somewhere (the first PC games I recall buying), I just haven't seen them for ages. I kinda stopped caring about the floppy disk boxes after I found out that you didn't need them after the installation anymore ever (even if you moved the game from one PC to another), except for the manual in case of keyword checks. And I now have the GOG versions of Wing Commanders and Red Baron anyway...

The oldest PC game boxes that I know right now where they are are probably for Falcon 3.0 and Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender (floppy versions), whichever came first. Ok I checked it, Falcon 3.0 was released in 1991, while Rex Nebular in 1992.
Midwinter on the pc big box with 3.5 & 5 1/4 inch disks huge manual. Great game but now dont have a floppy drive to play it.
Blimey, got lots of old stuff. Never got rid of anything.

Probably something like the gold box D&D Pool Of Radiance or Eye Of The Beholder...
Reading all these posts, I'm a bit jealous of your collections and somewhat surprised with the one member who mentioned having the games on tapes. Incredible! ^_^
Had a clearout some years ago of all the old Commodore and Amiga games.

Except for one: Super Zaxxon on the Commodore 64. 5 1/4 inches of black floppy awesomeness. Ah, happy days...

Damn, I love my boxes.
Oldest currently is a 1985 'Adventure Construction Set' in one of those weirdo record album boxes that EA used to love. I have to hang on to it because I haven't figured out how to best export the user adventures yet.

Many thanks to GOG for getting the rights to so many classics. I've been able to get rid of a number of dusty old boxes without guilt.
