Sooo ... a month and a bit ago, I suddenly decided I wanted to get my driving license. I'm 29 so it's about time. After a month of lessons, I was given a temp license to drive a car on my own. Since then, almost everyone I talked to joked "well try not to get into an accident on your first day!" and I always replied "don't worry I'm a careful driver".
Sooo ... today my father's girlfriend let me drive her car to work. And guess what happens ... just when I'm about to leave the parking lot after work, a girl decided to reverse into it. Her car's bumper shifted slightly and several pieces of paint got chipped off. On 'my' car, it seems to be limited to some chafing but nothing really bad or very visible. Fun.
So now I have the great anecdote of how I couldn't even manage a full day before I got into an accident. What are the chances of that happening anyway? And on my first day!!
So what are your "special" moments where the one thing you feared would happen, did happen, against all odds?
